"Kim is fantastic! I had procrastinated till about a month before the big day to book someone - mainly because I have problem skin (Psoriasis) and I don't wear makeup. During the trial, I shared my concerns with Kim and in talking with her, I felt less apprehensive. I had never heard of airbrushing and was amazed by how light the application was! She put me in front of the mirror and for a second I was stunned - I was surprised that while I looked extra hot, I still looked like me, natural. We also talked about the possibility of having to cover up some of the psoriasis spots, she said that if I needed it the day of my wedding that it would be no problem. She made me feel comfortable and even a little excited about makeup. On the big day, she did a great job on the girls and again did an amazing job on me. Thankfully I didn't need to cover up any spots - but I felt completely confident in her abilities, that if the worst case scenario happened, I would still have looked beautiful."

"I can't say enough about Kim! My makeup on my wedding day was perfect! I am not one that wears a lot of makeup and my husband would prefer if I wore none. When I told her that at my trial she did just enough so that it would stand out in pictures, but that I looked like myself and not overly done up. On my actual wedding day I felt that my makeup looked even better than in the trial. I loved that Kim took detailed notes on the colors and such that she used and I felt so comfortable with her doing my makeup on my special day. She did exactly what I asked for and made me look beautiful.
Kim also did my mother's makeup as well as my sister and sister in law. My mother had a trial, but asked Kim to change a little bit the day of and her makeup on my wedding day rocked! The other two ladies hadn't been through a trial but Kim did an awesome job on their makeup just going off of their requests. She is such a professional and not to mention a real sweetheart. I truly enjoyed working with her for my wedding!"

"Kim is an amazing make up artist! My make-up was flawless for my wedding day. She did exactly what I asked for, a classy and natural look, with an airbrush foundation. On my wedding day I felt amazing and received tons of compliments on my make up. Kim was extremely easy to work with and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. She is so nice and really cares about each one of her brides. Her time management skills are also great. She was able to set a schedule according to needs and times of various peoples hair appointments. She is extremely clean and thorough while cleaning her brushes (so important), before using them on a new face. "As a girl who rarely ever wears makeup it was a change to look in the mirror and know I had a full face of makeup on. Yet, Kim made it feel as if I had put nothing on. I'm very fair skinned and easily turn red but Kim applied my make up flawlessly. Having only gotten 2 hours of sleep the night before, I looked horrible in the morning and she completely transformed me. She is also very reasonably priced. I was very concerned about getting my makeup done because I have oily skin and typically if I do not use specific makeup, my makeup will not last for long periods of time. Kim spent time talking out a variety of options to make sure she was going to use the correct products. Kim is very professional, called me back the very next day after my late night email and spent a lot of time discussing her services before setting up a trial appointment. Kim is very talented and I would recommend her services to any bride. Kim made me feel very comfortable with her and I was not worried about how my makeup was going to turn out my wedding day."

"Kim did an amazing job with my bridal makeup. She was such a pro. I went to quite a few trials with other vendors before finding Kim. Our wedding was on a hot August day, and I have combination oily skin - but my makeup stayed flawless all day and I never looked shiny! She also really listened to what I wanted in terms of the look I was going for and had great ideas for how to achieve it. I really can't say enough about what a great job Kim did. If you are looking for flawless makeup that stays on all day, that never looks shiny, and makes you look your hands down absolute best - then go with Kim. You won't be disappointed!!!"

"Kim is an incredible make-up artist. Kim did a wonderful job the day of the wedding!! Everyone in the bridal party looked great! Everyone’s make-up looked very natural, flawless and photographed well too. Kim took time to understand what kind of look I was trying to achieve. I don’t wear a lot of make-up and did not want to look over-done, and Kim made sure to give me the absolute perfect look. She is very flexible and extremely pleasant to work with. She was able to coordinate her schedule to make sure that she could finish the entire bridal party on time. The makeup lasted from the early morning through the evening. She even gave everyone a small lip gloss so that we could reapply the same color she used throughout the day. What an awesome idea!!! We were all very happy with her service and I would definitely recommend her to anyone for a wedding or whatever other special occasion you might need makeup for."

"Kim did my make-up for my wedding. She was soooo great! The make-up looked great, felt very comfortable. The air brush was not heavy at all, however it was long lasting. From my photo taking til the end of the reception, it was almost 10 hours. I did not have to reapply any make-up other than lipstick. Kim is also very nice. She works around your schedule and shows up on time. I would recommend to do a trial with her first just so you know what you want for the actual day of the event. Thank you, Kim!"

"Kim is great. Had a trial and she explained air brushing vs regular makeup. I was happy with my trial. I was getting married on the beach so I went with the air brushing makeup. Kim worked with me at the trial to make sure everthing she did I liked. She wrote everything down that she used. The day of my wedding she showed up 20 minutes before the time she was scheduled. She came on site to the hotel I was getting ready at down the shore. Her time frame was spot on for doing my make up, my maid of honor and my mother. Kim was very easy to work with and made you feel beautiful. I got so many complements on my makeup."

"Kim did a beautiful job for myself and my bridesmaids the day of the wedding. She remembered all the items we discussed during my trial so it was an easy process. My only complaint is that Kim tried to up-sell my bridesmaids the day of the event. I planned to do airbrush for myself and traditional makeup for the bridesmaids for budget reasons since I was paying for everyones makeup. However, Kim asked each girl if they preferred airbrush, which was about $20-$30 more per person. I felt that since we had a contract and I was paying for the services, Kim should not have sold the airbrush without consulting me beforehand. Otherwise, Kim did a great job with the services and was very easy to work with."

"Kim did make-up for me, my mom and bridal party on my wedding. All of our make-up was perfect! It was nice because she asked questions and really listened to what everyone was loooking for so that we felt comfortable. She uses MAC too which is a plus because MAC really is the best. I am picky with make-up too, and have experienced a few make-up artists who used really unflattering shades on me. Yet, this did not happen with Kim. I highly recommend make-up-for-you to anyone who wants to look their absolute best for an occasion. She did an amazing job AND a pleasure to work with!"

"I found Kim through Wedding Wire reviews and once I looked at her website I knew she was the person I wanted to work with. I don't wear a lot of make-up so my biggest concern was working with someone who would make me look natural and not over the top. Kim was extremely easy to work with. She responded quickly to e-mails and was very flexible with times for a make-up trial. All of her prices are completely reasonable and worth every last penny. On the day of the wedding everyone commented about my make-up. It was over 95 degrees that day and we took pictures outside BEFORE the ceremony. I was so worried that I would look sweaty walking down the aisle, but the make-up stayed perfectly and no one knew I had been outside for so long. Kim has a calming presence that makes you sit calmly and quietly before the wedding begins. She makes sure it is exactly what you are looking for and your opinion as a bride is very important to her. My mom was so happy with the make-up experience with Kim, she went out and bought all new make-up after Kim gave her some tips (unrelated to the wedding). Perfect experience! Thanks Kim!"

Plus she throws in a sample lip gloss for all the girls to keep for touchups for the rest of the night, and she even threw some blush and lip gloss on the flower girl to make her feel included. "My experience with Kim and Make-Up For You was excellent. I was originally going to get my makeup done by the salon that was doing my hair, however their makeup person was unresponsive and was not able to set up a trial with me until very last minute, leaving me with a nervous feeling that I did not need on top of all the other wedding stress. My sister recommended Kim and I explained the situation and she was able to do a trial right away and fit it into her schedule to handle my makeup and my girls on my wedding day. Kim came to my parents house the day of the wedding and did the bridesmaids makeup and then did my makeup and waited until we left for the ceremony before leaving herself. I felt extremely comfortable and at ease with Kim; it was a a relief to know I had one less thing to worry about on such a hectic day. My makeup was exactly how I wanted it to be and stayed put the entire day and night (it was VERY humid). The wedding was almost 2 years ago and I still receive compliments about my makeup and I have consistently referred Kim & Makeup For you to friends and family who are getting married!
